Our Wellness Retreat & Educational Center goals

With the multitude of events and programs we put on here at Pinedora Farms, the one we are most excited to bring to full manifestation is that of being able to build our Wellness Retreat and Educational Center.

This shall be a place where people can come for an extended stay here on the farm for a complete lifestyle change opportunity and regain the power back over their own health.  This includes many different facets of learning.  Getting control back over your health and restoring wellness, isn't just about eating healthy.  It goes much deeper than that. A few of the things we touch on:

  • Detoxing your body

  • Learning the benefits of freshly picked organic food

  • Growing your own food

  • Food preparation

  • Fermentation

  • Sprouting

  • Preserving

  • Emotional connections

  • Meditations

  • Connecting with Nature

  • Overcoming obstacles

  • ... and much more

We plan on building a central housing structure with an open concept design.  The upstairs shall have 6 bedrooms with their own bathrooms for guests to stay.  Downstairs shall be an open concept design with a large kitchen and educational area for guests to gather and learn hands on.  The open area shall be large enough to schedule a multitude of events with plenty of spacing to set up for corporate retreats, meetings, and special venues.  To be as efficient as possible, we are looking into the "Bardominium" style of structure.  We shall continue with our "off-grid" concept and incorporate a complete solar set up, and just continue what we are currently doing.

We also plan to build 3 separate homes for the employees and staff to be right on the grounds as well, also utilizing self-sufficiency and green building to set an example of green living.  We hope to raise the funds for these projects through various grants, philanthropists and other fund-raising programs.  "We just need to get in front of the right people, who believe in what we are doing, who have the ability to help fund us."  We watch the gov grants and find it difficult when a large majority of grant opportunities are sent to other countries.  We're a small non-profit and not widely known "yet", and often are over-looked.  That can all change with YOUR help.  Help us help others by supporting this goal.  At this time, we estimate the completion of all of the buildings, some farm equipment and a security fence around the perimeter to be an estimated $1,700,000 we will be needing to have everything done and ready for guests to come stay for month long wellness retreat.  If you or anyone you know, may have the connections and or ability to help make this happen, please contact us.
